sorting for NOTES
Is there a way to sort the contents of a list created in the NOTES

Unfortunately no. It is only possible to sort the checklists so that when a point is "checked" - the line will move to the bottom. But it is not possible to sort lists inside a note in e.g. alphabetical order.
