Does Apple ever plan on giving us back the ability to manage apps from the desktop?

I get they created a bunch of different ways to organize via the homescreen but it hurts my eyes and I have issues with arthritis. It takes me forever to move items around and end up so frustrated that I give up.

There are so many downgrades with Apple lately that I'm starting to consider switching back to android. It shouldn't be this hard to manage photos and apps.

I have 2 ipads, 3 iphones and a macbook pro and I'm not including the devices I have for my mother so it would be so much easier for me to manage these devices if I could plug them in.
