Unable to reset password for wifi for my old apple tv can anyone help

In settings > network, try Forget (network)

If your Apple TV can't connect to Wi-Fi - Apple Support

You might need to set your wi-fi router to WPA2 security protocol (from WPA3 or WPA2/WPA3) using its software control panel.
