I bought my AirPods Pro in May 2022, they are made in March 2022.

A week ago I noticed static electricity like sound in one (Right) unit, and the noise has only been getting worse since then :(

I went to Genius Bar at Apple Store just to be told that I can neither get the unit fixed nor replaced because Apple only does that for units made until October 2020 …

My units are just a little over a year of use and not eligible for the the special replacement warranty, but somehow someone who has been using AirPods Pro since 2019 is eligible for a new pair of AirPods Pro units!

The problem of static noise does exist in recently manufactured units as well!

Apple must fix this issue, it is inappropriate that earpieces for ~250$ work just a year and then just get jacked :( and this is a well known issues, why only a little slice of people can get their AirPods Pro fixed?
