messages deleted by macbook

Hi everyone so December of 2022 I was trying to stop my MacBook Air from getting the messages I was receiving on my phone. So I was looking for a way to stop it and it said sync and I pressed decline then a few minutes later the messages from my phone erased all of them except the green messages. Please help because I have some messages on there I don’t want to lose I hope I didn’t lose them when I pressed decline to sync on my MacBook Air☹️

Deletion of messages not syncing between iPhone and MacBook I am using an iPhone, iPad and MacBook ..... all upgraded to the latest software. Messages are set up to sync to iCloud. I am also using these devices with the same iCloud account. When I delete messages on the MacBook, the deletion is reflected on the iPad but not on the iPhone. I have tried restarting the devices but to no avail. What am I doing incorrectly? It is convenient to delete on the MacBook rather than on the iPhone hence I would like this to be set up. Does "Message History" setting on the iPhone have any bearing on this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Messages not deleting on MAC So even though I have everything updated and I put my I cloud to “sync everything” on my Mac, messages that I deleted on my i phone from the past still show up, even though newer deleted things get deleted , the old stuff stays. I just didn’t want to always have to do this manually or delete all my messages on every new device i get , any suggestions ?
