iCloud Photos on PC won’t saved edits - wants to make copy of edited version
how do I keep my edited pics without saving an edited copy? iCloud to PC. Not letting me save edited original even after I’ve downloaded it from cloud

Hey Twinz507,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. After editing a photo, you'll need to upload it as a new file to save it to iCloud Photos again.
Note: If you edit a photo or video on your Windows computer, those edits don’t appear on your Apple devices or on iCloud.com. If you want the edited file added to iCloud Photos, upload it as a new file.
