Hi all
I recently purchased an Apple Watch Series 8, I've set up all my apps notifications to work through my watch (mirroring my phone) and yet they still wont work for all apps.
Instagram, Facebook, BeReal etc will not work.
My phone is locked and not being used, the notification will show on my phone instead of my watch.
My phone and watch is all updated.
Please help me before I go absolutely insane.

Unpair the Watch.
Ensure the third party apps are installed on the iphone.
Set up the watch again as a New Watch (no backup restore)
In iPhone, Watch app, My Watch tab, ensure any third party apps showing as INSTALL are installed
Check through the Notifications for anything related to those apps.
If is still doesn't work the best advice for problems with apps not written by Apple is to contact the developer

PS you may also have VPN or VPN based ADblocker running on the phone which must be removed. No security apps like NordVPN, Norton etc, are needed in iphone and cause havoc.
If there are no Watch apps produced by the owners of Instagram, Facebook, or BeReal there may be no notifications. The only exception seems to me Whatsapp even without an app.
I don’t understand how that’s possible, when friends watches have IG notifications come through as normal? Example attached.
Ask your friends how they did it.
I did. They automatically work.
Hence why I’m here, because they don’t for me.
