Final cut pro voice isolation feature

I have FCP 10.6.5 and have my MacBook pro updated to Big Sur 11.7.6 so I am all the way updated. However, in FCP, the voice isolation feature does not appear for me. I know to "show" in audio enhancements however there is still nothing there. I saw something in a previous thread about the audio configuration but didn't quite understand it. Here is what I'm working with.

It will not work on Big Sur.

In order to enable Voice Isolation in Final Cut Pro, macOS Monterey 12.3 or later must be installed.

You can get a similar (better) result with the free app Audacity but it involves round-tripping so is not quite as convenient.

There are numerous tutorials on Youtube. Here is one I picked at random.

It is a very simple procedure and most of the time you can leave the controls in the default positions.

However, to use it you need to have at least one second or more of just the background noise where nobody is speaking.

In other words you need a sample of just the noise for Audacity to analyse.
