Apple Card use at Apple Store in Japan with same benefit in US and is it Sales Tax Free?

I want to have iPhone 14 Pro Max with Sim Tray, but I understand US sold iPhone 14 Pro Max have no Sim Tray. I have a plan to go Japan next month, and I understand iPhone 14 Pro Max sold in Japan has Sim Tray. Can I purchase it at Apple Store in Japan using US Apple Card? If yes, is it subject to 3% Daily Cash? Am I able to purchase with monthly payment option with no interest? Can I purchase with Tax Free? I have no intention to use it in Japan, and will bring back to US after purchase, so I believe I am eligible to purchase with Tax Free.

Please advise.

Yes, Apple Card MasterCard is accepted worldwide at merchants that accept MasterCard. It should earn 3% Daily Cash if purchased at an Apple Store and not a 3rd party retailer. In regard to tax liability that will subject to customs requirements and application of existing regulations. Consult a tax expert and/or customs office.

You’re welcome. But I see I missed an answer. My understanding is the 0% interest free monthly installments is only available for purchases made in the US. Please Confirm by contacting Apple Card support.
