Pinned conversation names not matching in messages

Suddenly this morning two of the names in my pinned conversations on iPhone do not match the same pinned conversations on iPad. The full string of the messages are synced, but the names do not match. I have a hunch as to why, but not sure how to fix it.

I’ll use one as the example: the convo is called ”Home” on my iPhone and uses our home cell number. That same cell number is also contained in my address book under my “ICE” (In Case of Emergency) contact along with my husband’s work cell. On my iPhone it shows as “Home” (which contains only the home cell), when it syncs to the iPad it uses “ICE” (which contains the home cell and husbands work cell).

I’m sure the same number being under two separate contacts is “confusing” messages, but it had been correct and now suddenly is not. I tired removing the pinned tweets on iPhone then re-adding them, but iPad still uses the wrong contact; ICE instead of Home. Both conversations are identical when I select them, but the pinned name is not. How do I get the iPad to use “Home” instead of ICE as it does on the iPhone?
