Same thing happening to us. On a new Samsung TV, ethernet connection to router, using the Apple TV app, located in Copenhagen Denmark. Nothing else from Apple TV will play via the app on tv but will play on phone and Apple TV app on my Macbook. Interestingly HBOMAx not playing either, but Netflix is. Maybe some conflict between the Samsung software after an update?

Hello, I am having the same issue as Urquhart 1244. I did reach out to Apple Support and spent two days and numerous hours on the phone with customer support and they could not figure out the issue and it is still not working. Freezes in the same spot and doesn't play. I

Ted Lasso froze season 3 episode 6. Lots of people have this issue. Apple, pleased fix the problem.

Don’t bother with support. They are not equipped to answer this (I tried). It’s a problem with the upload, not the download. What amazes me is that Apple hasn’t addressed it yet.
