How to use iphone 4g

If you have any carrier in India that supports the iPhone, you can use their SIM, if the phone isn't locked to AT&T

ALL U.S. iphones are carrier locked to AT&T and CANNOT be activated with any other carrier in any other country.

All US iPhones are carrier locked to AT&T.
Under no circumstances will AT&T unlock iPhones.

Do not waste your time or money buying a US iPhone.

Keep in mind that the warranty for iPhones is ONLY honored in the country where the device was intended for sale.

Geez, pretty adamant while being "not quite correct". What you mean to say is they can't be unlocked through Apple or AT&T because those parties choose NOT to unlock them. There are unofficial ways to unlock a U.S. phone.
