secure encrypted .dmg on other accounts

I have an encrypted .dmg on an administrator account. The issue is that if the .dmg is mounted any other account on this Mac (running latest Ventura) can see its contents when they login. Is there a way to keep it inaccessible to other accounts?

Sorry, I didn't process the mounted part.

You need to enable permissions on the mounted drive (uncheck Ignore Ownership in Get Info). Set your user to the owner, delete the group (staff), and set everyone to no access.

Or, eject the drive before you switch users.
