I have new iPad pro (6th Gen.) .While opening any file through mac mail its opened in read only mode.
But, IThere is not an issue in outlook application. I have discussed with Microsoft but they have clearly informed me that it not there issue.

Presumably you have installed the Microsoft Excel App on your iPad.
For iPad devices with a screen larger than 10.1”, Microsoft Office App’s require an active Microsoft 365 Subscription for full functionality. If you don’t have an active O365 subscription, functionality is limited to opening and reviewing existing documents; you’ll not be able to create or modify.
