Yahoo shared calendar not syncing anymore with iPhone's calendar

I was able to get my calendars to sync. I changed my Yahoo password and then I had to update it on iPhone and everything is now syncing.

This was driving me crazy as well. What fixed it for me was clearing my Safari cache and website data in the Advanced area of Safari.

Setting>Safari>Advanced>Website Data> Remove All Website Data

If you added Yahoo to your Mail account previously, you might not have turned on the Calendar feature. To check this, go to Settings > Mail > Yahoo and confirm the slider next to Calendars is set to On/green. If not, turn it on.

I also can add an event on my calendar on my Iphone 8+ and it is reflected on the Yahoo server. Events go up but nothing goes down to the phone.

1) I made sure my Cloud password was in sync with apple id. I did have issues with pw in the past.

2) I was still receiving partial yahoo calendar invites. My yahoo created invites did not show up on iphone. All my old meeting invites from my work Outlook or non-yahoo invites appeared. New invites were not. Starting from Sunday, June 11, 2023

3) I reinstalled Yahoo mail for a 3rd or 4th time.

4) Last, I start toggle my calendars in iphone settings last night, checking my calendar and the the missing invites started to appear and download overnight. drained my iphone battery completely (was charged 100%).

Bottom line, somebody made a code change or server change that cause the issue and did not have a team properly test. Plus courtesy change/release notification between Yahoo and Apple companies share the code change in advance. My two cent as an IT professional.

Thanks for the update. I don't think the IOS latest version will fix it. I just upgraded my iPhone to the latest 17.3.1 yesterday, Apr 21, 2024 and the problem is still there. I really think the problem is with one of the Yahoo servers hosting the calendar function. Not all Yahoo users are affected because they have many servers for their mail/calendar systems supporting different users so thats why not all of Yahoo calendar users are affected.

The Calendar on my Phone just synced. All data from Yahoo has repopulated it.

Either Apple or Yahoo or both did something. However, my data only goes back about 6 months, as someone pointed out. I guess that is better than nothing.

I did not change my password or anything else today. I just opened the Calendar on my phone and it started jumping around and then I realized it was downloading the events. I checked and it appears completely correct.

I have the same exact issue. Started 2 days ago. I tried all the suggested fixes and nothing works. If I add an entry on the iPhone calendar and it shows up on Yahoo calendar but not the other way around. Also if I delete the entry from the Yahoo calendar from the browser it does NOT remove it from iPhone calendar. it appears that iPhone can partially communicate with Yahoo calendar and post the entry but Yahoo does not do the same.

I'm having the same issue. I have deleted the account and entered it in again and the calendars still will not sync.

I experience the same issue. It seems that Calendar-Yahoo integration expires after a week or so. And the only way to remedy this is to remove the account and reconnect again.

Not sure if the issue is on Apple or Yahoo's end.

My regular Yahoo calendar is not downloading/syncing either. Been happening for about 2 days. I tried everything including deleting and re-adding it but that did nothing but lost all my old data on the phone.

Anyone had any success resolving this issue? My yahoo calendar will not sync with my Calendar on my iMac. It was fine until 4 days (or so) ago. I've been on phone with Apple support forever and they cannot figure it out. We've tried everything (deinstalling calendars, safe Mode, toggling every calendar button, etc.). Software on both iPhone and iMac both up-to-date....

Getting error 503.

Exactly the same issue here. Also happened approximately 4 days ago. Tried everything with and without Apple Support’s help. Can’t see any events from my Yahoo calendar anymore- neither on my iPhone nor on Mac. Mac shows error 503. Would deeply appreciate help. I am dependent on the Yahoo calendar and need to see it on the iPhone
