Macbook air m1 trackpad/keyboard issues

I got a Macbook air m1 a few months ago, and not long after I started having some issues with the trackpad and the keyboard. Basically, when the computer paused on its own, after I started it again the trackpad would not physically click nor drag and the keyboard would not respond as well. All I can do is restart using the power button. This started to happen more frequently and now it happens while normally using the computer: the trackpad simply stops working.

I'm using Ventura 13.2.1 and I've tried to solve this using the recommendations found online (such as restoring trackpad setting, etc.) but the problem remains.

Any help would be much appreciated, because this is seriously disrupting my work.
