Macbook not related to China

Does Macbook have any model that not related to China like made or assembled ? I want to buy one because My job not allow my to use any device product or assembled from China

To add a bit to Lanny's reply. No current, or past model (AFAIK) Mac desktop or laptop, does not have something to do with China. Either manufactured in or gets its parts from.


... and Apple is not unique with this. I don't think you will find any current computer hardware manufacturer that doesn't rely wholly or partially on Chinese-produced products.


If your employer demands that you must use a non-Chinese-produced computing device, then they should identify to you with what they do find acceptable ... or, better still, provide you with one.

To my limited knowledge, Apple laptops are assembled in various locations around the world, including China, Taiwan, and the United States. The specific location of assembly depends on the model and the year it was produced. For example, it is my understanding that a number of MacBook Pro models are being assembled in China, while some older MacBook Air models were assembled in Taiwan. Although there were some stories about Apple bringing some of that manufacturing back into the United States, AFAIK, they still haven't.


To get the latest information, you need to contact Apple Sales directly.
