I recently switched from an old Macbook to a new one. After an unsuccessful attempt to watch purchased media on my new Mac I tried to authorize the new device but wasn't able to complete the process and still cannot watch the content.
Any help?

Any downloaded files (iTunes Store purchases) are valid only on the device to which they were downloaded. No copying to other devices.
For streaming, you only have to sign in to the TV app (menu Account) with the matching Apple ID as used for the original purchase. Then these titles would show in your Library.
This is not true. They do not show up in your library. You have to search for the film and it will allow you to play it. But it does not show a list of purchased film.
