MacBook Pro M1 screen goes black suddenly and does not wake up (from sleep mode?)

So I have this MacBook Pro M1 16GB model which I bough in Dec 2021. It was working fine except for the occassional crash maybe caused by too many chrome tabs :D

Since today, a weird thing is happening with the display. It suddenly goes blank and dark (with a dark navy bluish glow) after few minutes of usage. Then the screen doesnt wake up and stays the same, even though I know the system is up and running (keyboard light and system sounds are on).

The display comes back on after 30-40 minutes or almost whenever I restart by long pressing the power button.

Any idea why this is happening? Seems to me to be a power connection issue or maybe a weird bug.
