Final Cut Pro Beachballing and Crashing on M1 Mac Mini

Hi there! I'm having a brutal time running Final Cut Pro on my mac mini. After just about any change to my project I'm getting the beach ball. This even happens when trying to play the project in the timeline. In extreme cases my mac crashes and restarts. Using this forum I found out that 'chrome is bad' and followed the process to uninstall chrome, reset FCP preferences, and reinstall FCP. I'm still having the same issue. I ran etrechek report (attached) and it looks like there may be some issues. Unfortunately, this is where my expertise runs out. I'm unsure if any of these issues are causing my problems with FCP and how to fix them.

I'd sincerely appreciate any help that might help me solve this issue. Thank you!

It seems that the kernel panics may be due to the external drive.

Try using your mac and FCP for a while without the external drive being connected to your mac.

Does it still crash or beachball as before?

Also: you should completely uninstall the WD software. Third party drive manufacturer software is unnecessary and often can cause issues.
