When you open Savings you agree to automatically deposit Daily Cash that you earn into your Savings account. You can also add money to Savings from a linked external bank account or from Apple Cash.

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.
  2. Tap Savings account, then tap Add Money.
  3. Enter the amount that you want to add, then tap Add.
  4. Select or add the payment source that you want to add money from.
  5. Double-click the side button to confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

Money that you deposit into Savings starts earning interest on the day that the transfer is initiated from the Wallet app.

If you transfer money from Apple Cash, the funds are typically available instantly. If you transfer money from a linked external bank account, it will generally take a few days for funds to be available for withdrawal.

Step 4. trips a lot of members up.

Your identity must be verified to be transferring funds like this. Instant transfer from Apple SAvings to Apple Cash is limited to $10,000 in a day and $20,000 in any 7 day rolling period.

So I was having the same issue where "Apple Cash Balance" was not showing up. How I fixed it:

  1. Open the "Apple Cash" card
  2. click the three dots on the top right of screen
  3. Select "Card Details"
  4. Scroll to bottom and select "Verify your identity" option
  5. Fill out the info
  6. Go back to "Apple Card" select "Savings Account" and the "Apple Cash" balance should now be visible when trying to "Add Money"

Hope this is helpful!

After I applied for the savings account, this option - where the balance from Apple Cash shows up in the red circled position - was not available to me until after I restarted my phone. Then I was able to follow the instructions as you outlined, thank you. So anyone who is still having trouble, try restarting your phone and then go back to Savings - add money - and your Apple Cash balance should show up like on the screen above.

Of course I did. I've transferred between accounts before, and step 4 is there when I pay may apple card off every month since I have multiple bank accounts linked. I haven't missed any steps.

However, next day while I was in the savings account, it gave me a notice that I have an Apple cash balance that I can transfer if I choose. I still couldn't transfer the regular way as it wasn't showing as an option, but once I clicked on that notice screen it allowed me to do it. Not sure why but this was my experience.

Hey Jeff. Reading through this thread. I'm still having issues transferring Apple Cash to Apple Savings. My Apple Cash is verified. I've tried all of the steps, but only my personal bank account is listed as an option. I get to the 'add money' step and nothing is listed there. I add the amount in my Apple Cash account then click 'next' and only my personal bank account is listed as an option. I also tried 'transfer to back' from the '...' in the Apple Cash account but, again, only my personal bank account is an option. I am updated to 16.5. Thanks.
