Copy items from FindMy on iPad to iPhone? iPhone not seeing them.

I have 5 new items (4 Atuvos tags, 1 Pebblebee card) which I easily added to FindMy on my IPad. But they don’t show up on the iPhone, NOR are they recognized so I can add them to the iPhone.

Is it possible to copy these entries from the iPad to the iPhone?

If not, any suggestions why the iPad can see them and the iPhone cannot?

Here's how to check and enable iCloud syncing for the Find My app:

1. On both your iPad and iPhone, go to "Settings."

2. Tap on your name at the top to open the Apple ID settings.

3. Tap on "iCloud."

4. Scroll down to "Find My" and make sure it is toggled on for both devices.

Once iCloud syncing is enabled for Find My, your new items should automatically appear on both devices.

If the issue persists, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Restart both devices: Turn off your iPad and iPhone, then turn them back on after a minute. This can help resolve minor glitches.

2. Update both devices to the latest iOS version: Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Software Update" and check for updates. Install updates if available.

3. Disable and re-enable Find My on both devices: Go to "Settings" > your name > "iCloud" > "Find My" and toggle it off, then back on after a few seconds.

4. Remove and re-add the items on your iPad: If none of the previous steps worked, try removing the items from Find My on your iPad and re-adding them. This might force a sync with your iPhone.

This does NOT match either my iPad or iPhone software. When I go into Settings and click on my image (Apple ID), on either device, I see:

=iCloud

=Media and Purchases

=Find My

=Family Sharing

Under iCloud, there is no entry for FindMy.

There’s an entry for iCloud Drive, Sync this iPhone (ON), but no Find My.

Under Find My (under Apple ID) there is

=Find My iPhone (or Find My iPad), both ON

=My Location

=Use this (iPhone or iPad) As My Location

=Share My Location, both ON

As I said, under Find My “Find My iPhone” is ON, and “Share My Location” is ON.

For the iPad, the same choices are also ON.

I realize Find My is used to track my devices, but apparently the different devices do not SHARE their data via iCloud, which is one of the two things I was asking about.

The other thing is WHY the iPad sees all 5 new trackers while the iPhone sees NONE of them. Is there something I can change or check? It would be much easier if I could locate things using the iPhone instead of the iPad sometimes!

I don’t know why your iPad sees the devices but your iPhone doesn’t. They must’ve been meant for iPadOS, and not compatible with iOS. The only way to have the files on both devices at the same time is if iCloud is enabled and you have both of the devices to upload files to iCloud. Sorry for the inconvenience.
