why do I have to sign in on each TV to access Apple app every day. Very annoying. No other apps require daily sign in

I think asking the make of my tv is a lame way to throw back the problem on customers.

It is not meant to throw back problems. Instead, different devices may need different approaches. Also, this is a user-to-user forum; we do not represent Apple. You are not my customer.

  1. Some devices are not supported but manage to get the Apple TV app installed anyway. That could be a cause for issues.
  2. Some devices may have brand specific support considerations/known issues and solutions.
  3. If you are asking for assistance, then you should supply all the relevant information, and not withhold specifics that might turn out to be crucial.


It’s really annoying to have to sign in every night.

I understand that. Try this: sign out of the Apple ID account, then sign back in again. That should reset some account related properties.

On which model TV or connected streaming device do you have the Apple TV app?

Is it listed as an officially supported device?

The Apple TV app is supposed to store account information on disk, so that relaunching this app can continue with the last used account. You may need to reset/restart/reinstall to overcome such issues.
