Thanks for the reply, but didn’t help. I had already shared my Apple Card with my wife. We are looking to share the “Savings” account, not the Apple Card

Last night I opened the new Apple Savings account off my card, but my wife does not see it on her iPhone in Apple Wallet (both iOS are current). She only saw the savings Setup option. After doing the setup, she sees a Savings account, but it is not the one I setup on my phone. We would like to share 1 Savings Account

I was all excited to be able to apply for the Apple Card and have a high-yield savings account, but finding out that I can share the same Apple Card with my wife as a co-owner, but we'd have to have completely separate savings accounts is ridiculous. Add this to the list of why we'll find another card to apply for:

  • Unable to have our shared non-iCloud AppleID account tied to the card where both of us could have it in our Apple Wallet (I first created our shared AppleID back when .Mac was a thing). "Apple Card - Family" seemed to solve this issue at first.
  • Daily cash back is completely separate and per user
  • Unable to have a single, shared savings account tied to the card, even though we're both co-owners and sharing the same card
  • Unable to integrate into YNAB, although apparently it integrates into Mint

The complications of this don't make it worth it at all. My excitement about it all has turned into complete disappointment.

I messaged their support, which I realize they're not likely to know of new features on the way, but they said there's currently no support for it and no planned support to be added. Considering it took them 2 years to add the ability to add co owners to the Apple Card, I'm not holding my breath on the savings.

It's quite absurd that a basic feature isn't available. It would be a great, easy option, but for married couples, an account that isn't easily and readily available for both to access just isn't an option.

Same issue. Set up card, shared with wife, unable to share savings account. Luckily she didn’t set up a new savings account before we realized it wasn’t possible to share. Being able to share this savings account was the whole reason we got the Apple Card to begin with. Hopefully Apple introduces shared savings in the future. Really too bad 😞

Wife accidentally set up her own savings account as she was trying to link to the one that I had set up. Very frustrating that a basic need cannot be addressed

You can contact a specialist to cancel your wife’s accidental account if you so wish by calling Goldman Sachs Apple support number.
