how do I turn off two factor authenticator in iphone

You can't, if you have already used it.
If you set up Two-Factor.....but never used it.....you have 2 weeks to cancel.
On your phone......
Tap Settings
Tap on your name at the top of the screen
Tap Password and Security
Tap on Two-Factor Authentication to see if an option to turn it Off appears.
If you see Two-Factor Authentication On, you cannot turn it Off
