Any video driver you update in Windows isn't going to affect macOS. Running a newer video driver is recommended in Windows.

There is supposedly a driver update for Mac, which can be downloaded and installed to Mac, via Windows. This was recommende by the producer of an app which I wanted to make work, but which was missing some functionality. I am unsure if this is necessary and/or safe.
