iPad Recording Volume with Blue Yeti Nano

I am trying to record videos on my 11" iPad pro by screen recording with mic and speaking into a USB-attached Blue Yeti Nano microphone. Upon watching these videos, it is consistent that the volume is abnormally low (quieter than the iPad microphone). I have tried speaking louder and changing the mode (I primarily use cardioid and speak directly into the microphone; I am the only one talking), but nothing changes.

1) On what end is this issue: the device or the microphone?

2) Can I fix this problem without editing the videos?
