Safari help, anyone?

Lately, my search bar has been acting up. Sometimes it displays the long URL of the page I'm reading. Sometimes it displays only the top-level domain. Sometimes it displays the URL of the referring page. Sometimes it displays the word "blank."

Safari crashes when pop-up prompts appear in Private Browsing Hello, I have recently been encountering an issue in Safari, specifically in Private Browsing where any pop-up prompts, such as Google log in prompts, although it's not limited to only that, causes Safari to abruptly quit. This issue occurs after clearing cache, cookies, trying in safe mode, and reinstalling macOS, so I don't think it's an issue with the device to the best of my knowledge although I may be wrong. Please let me know if anyone also has this issue or any ideas on how to solve it. Thanks.

Safari Does Not Load Certain Web Sites I'm running a MacBook Pro Mid 2015. Running macOS Monterey 12.7.2. Safari 17.2.1 Recently Safari on this Mac 'hangs' when trying to load a few of the web sites I frequently use. I down loaded a virus scanner and my mac is clean. I downloaded Firefox and can load the web sites easily. I can access these same sites on my husbands Mac (MacBook Pro 2016 - running macOS Monterey 12.6 Safari 16.0). I've done all the potential steps found in the forum (cleared cookies, cleared history, checked extensions, tried to open in a private window, etc.). Any suggestions are appreciated.

Safari (MacOS) loads extremely slow Safari sometimes start loading new pages extremely slow (like taking >10 seconds) Closing and re-opening Safari fixes it, but only for a while. I have had this issue for 2 years now. Any tips or ideas? Notes It is not network related, Chrome works like normal Updating to Tahoe 26 did not solve it, it was present on previous versions as well I have tried deleting all history, cache and cookies Turning private relay on or off doesn't change anything Had this issue on M1 mac mini, but also on M3 macbook pro. Never on iPhone.

Any Extension installed at Safari > Settings > Extensions. If so, disable all.

Does the same thing happen when booting into Safe Mode?
