MacBook Pro touch screen

If you are referring to the Touch Bar... try this:

Open the Terminal app. You can find it in Applications > Utilities folder.

Copy each of the following commands into the Terminal window, one at a time, and press the Return key.

sudo pkill TouchBarServer;

sudo killall “ControlStrip”;

Terminal will require your password to complete the process and restart the Touch Bar. It’s normal to not see the characters on the screen while you’re typing, so just press the Return key again when you have finished.

The system will instantly restart the process that controls the Touch Bar and it should work again as expected.

There has never been a touch screen MacBook Pro. Or any other Mac with a touch screen for that matter...
