I tried watching the St. Louis City/Colorado game last night but AppleTV MLS said my game was unavailable in my area. I was trying to watch on my Samsung TV, was properly logged into the app.
I was however able to watch it on my AppleTV app on my phone and stream it to the TV. Why?? I've seen all other of my games on the Samsung AppleTV app. Why was last nights game different?
Try launching the app on your TV and then in the privacy subsection of the settings menu, there is a location option. Turn that to off. Worked for me. Scroll over to settings, scroll down to location, click ok or enter once to toggle from on to off

MLS Season Pass in the Apple TV app is not supposed to have geolocation blackouts on any device for any game.
It must be something else than organized blackouts.
Please contact Apple Support for their take on it, and avoiding such issues in the future,
else report you findings to Apple through the feedback form.
Thx. While I only had the problem with that one game, I did turn off location on my app on my TV.
Why was my MLS game blacked out last night??? I pay for the subscription and was logged in!!!
