I have written a book called MY BOOK. I have sent to my iPad a copy. I can open it there and amend. BUT, I cannot open it on my iMac although this is where I wrote it in the first place. How to I open it on my Mac?
Any help is appreciated

Try Right click>Open With>Text Edit... or BBEdit might be needed...
Does it contain Graphics, like HEIC maybe‽
What App & Versions are you using?
Open it in Text Edit. Any luck?

I tried book and 1doc...nothing
Tried that, drag and drop. (this is my book image) click on the image and I get sent to "Books"!
