I just advised the moderators if my intentions to close an account I never opened. Now instead of the profile name whoever created was lostpoet22 and just as I finger printed into my account, the name was changed to brearces269.
How do I delete this bogus account?

That is far too vague to tell anyone how to accomplish the task. Provide specific steps, preferably with links to Apple documentation.

I still don’t know how an account can be created without permission, and if it was the OP would have no access to it.
It’s more likely the OP chose a user name as the original was unacceptable. Same account though.
It is also an old thread from May where you decided to dig it up and repeat my advice but without the contact detail. Rather pointless really.
Make a request to the email address in the ASC terms of use that you agreed to. ie
communityaccounts@apple.com
