HELP! 141 calling problem..

Hi there,

I've got an issue with my iPhone 3GS. When I call someone with 141 which is to hide my number, it still shows my number. I'm on O2 UK network.

Not sure what's going on here, does anyone have any ideas?

Actually I thought that 141 did not work on a mobile network, but having seen you post I tried it with m Vodafone and it does work excactly the same as from a landline. i.e. It conceals the number for a single call, you have to dial 141 every time you wish to hide the number it does not enable by default.

Yup I've tried to get it to work so many times, it just doesn't want to conceal my number.

Oddly enough if I put the iPhone simcard into another phone and ring with 141 then it works.

Yeah I think I may go into the O2 store and see what they have to say about it. Beats calling their iPhone support team at 25p per minute lol. And then the Apple store.
