I've followed the support threads that suggest isolating and moving audio plug-ins. Since then, for over a week now, the opening window remains hung up, simply citing "validating audio units...", but now without any specific plug-ins mentioned (prior to moving them out, it was citing Native Instruments third party audio plug-ins of mine.)
Content creation for a brand new channel of mine is ground to a halt. :(
Your best option is to install the previous OS into an external SSD. You could also try running the current public beta of 13.4 to see if this alleviates the problem.
Can you report back on what you did and if it fixed it? Does FCP now work okay on the latest version of Ventura?

FCP is now at 10.6.8 and Ventura is at 13.5.
I do not use any third party audio units, but I think the problem of FCP being stuck at loading audio units was fixed in 13.4. I have not heard of this in a while.
