Thumb drive and hard drive not recognized after upgrade to Ventura

I have a thumb drive and 2 external hard drives that I have used with my MacBook in the past. One of the hard drive has files on it that I access from time to time, only with my MacBook. The other hard drive is used solely to back up my MacBook. I use the thumb drive to transfer files from my MacBook to a Windows machine. After I upgraded my OS to Ventura, my MacBook no longer recognizes the thumb drive or the hard drive that I access files on. It still recognizes the one I use for backups (I use a USB to USB-C adaptor for the first two devices; the backup hard drive has a USB-C port). I reformatted the thumb drive on my windows machine, but it did not resolve the issue. I don't want to reformat the external hard drive because it has a lot of content on it that I don't want to lose.

Any ideas? Thanks.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.2

If you have Paragon NTFS installed and you didn't upgrade it. You may be unable to mount drives in general. Even if those drives are not NTFS formatted. If you require Paragon NTFS then upgrade it. If not, remove it.
