Why is my iphone 13 mini repeatedly "unavailable"? 3rd time in 2 days that I have this issue.

Why has my iphone 13 mini locked me out and been "unavailable" 3 times in thw last 2 days?

iPhone 13 mini, iOS 16

It appears you may have a disabled mobile device or forgotten device passcode. Refer to this support article for various methods that you can use to resolve this. Which one you can use depends upon your equipment configuration. --> If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support


If you are keeping the phone in your pocket you could be accidentally triggering a request for a passcode and incorrectly entering it.

Why has this suddenly happened 3x's? I have never had an iphone "pocket-dial" the passcode. This has never occurred before, and Apple software updates are the only changes made (no new apps, no settings changes, etc.).

I appreciate the response, but it doesn't explain why- having Never had this issue before- it has suddenly become an issue. What has made my touchscreen so much more sensitive now?

Is there a certain type of fabric that activates touchscreens? Phone had been untouched in pocket prior to every occurence.
