Turn off Bluetooth auto dial iPhone 14

How do I turn off Bluetooth automatic dial when double pressing the button my Bluetooth headset on iPhone 14?

Using my bluetooth headset, if I double press the button, the phone auto dials the last dialled number.

Is there any way to disable this? I don't want to autodial the last number every time I double press the button to either turn off my headset or do something else. It’s annoying.

And it is really frustrating as it is the case only with iPhone. Have used the same headset for android earlier for 5 years and it wasn’t the case so my headset is fine. Is there any setting in iPhone to disable this automatic calling?

P.S. this is from someone using the iPhone for the first time

Probably you are using third-party apps or a third-party device.

If you are experiencing any difficulty with third-party apps or a specific website or a product then please contact the app developer or site publisher/host or the manufacturer directly. Here is how

  • To contact an App developer --> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
  • To contact a web publisher —> Scroll Down to the bottom of the web page. You will find: Contact Us, Help Center, Support, Terms of use, etc.
  • To contact the Manufacturer --> Please read the manual that may have come along with the product.
