Screen recording access for external monitor hubs

While for a way to be able to use my 2 HDMI monitors on my M1 Mac, I found that many of the hubs available for this type of setup require an InstantView driver to be installed and screen recording access to be granted to the hub/driver. I've had multiple monitors with hubs in the past and none have required screen recording access. It seems as though with Ventura / M1, most hubs are not able to support a second HDMI monitor unless you use their InstantView or SiliconMotion driver. The hub instructions state that the app does not store or record any screen content, but I am still concerned that there may be a security risk here. Does anyone have any experience or technical input to this matter?
