As it is a subscription service, signing up requires a valid payment method linked to the Apple ID account. That payment method should support automatic and periodical charges. As a verification test Apple may do a 0.00 charge or other minimal reservation to that payment method.

UPI should be supported for users in India with their Apple ID account set to that region.

I’m also running into the same issue on my Samsung TV.

Verification required as in a loop. I’m in India so I cannot add a credit card for automatic payment even if I wanted to as Apple doesn’t support it.

I have sufficient Apple ID balance to cover the subscription amount.

How do I get this working?

I have used upi and it's not working, can anyone help
