You need to consider that your first generation iPad, with iOS 5.1.1, is long ago obsolete. There are no compatible Apps available from the Apple App Store - all 32-bit Apps compatible with the iPad1 and other obsolete iPad models having been retired and withdrawn from the App Store.


Many Apple services have been similarly withdrawn for obsolete devices - and this may impact your ability to create an AppleID account from your iPad.
