I'm not sure if I changed a setting by mistake but there are suddenly blue blocks around the selected menu icon at the bottom of the screen, while using apps such as Photos or WhatsApp. Does anyone know how to reverse this change, to make it display without this block?

I think I just found the fix. If you recently used Color Filters under Accessibility, turn it on then off while on Color Tint. Check the apps again that was affected by this.

In the Whastapp
Settings > Chats > Chat Wallpaper > Tap Reset on the top RH side.
It has nothing to do with the wallpaper. It’s definitely a setting on the actual iPhone because it’s affecting other apps on my phone, such as Photos and the App Store.

Unfortunately not. I’m hoping that iOS 16.5 will fix it.
It’s not the worst glitch but it makes the menus look ugly.
