Hp Laserjet P1102 driver installation

Hi! I am getting this error code 3840 saying "The disk image couldn't be opened" after downloading the drivers package for my printer and trying to install it. What's the solution for this?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 13.1

Half a gigabyte for printer drivers? That’s a whole lot of stuff. It’s also a so-called host-based printer, which means the printer is about as intelligent as a turnip without the drivers, and will be less useful than that turnip without those drivers. (Printers with AirPrint support—co-developed by HP—avoid most of the limitations there.)

If re-downloading the DMG from HP gets the same error, then your issue is with HP and you’ll want to contact HP Support, as it appears they’ve posted a corrupt DMG.

The HP SMART app might be a work-around for the problem DMG:

The link that HP posts in the HP SMART utility release notes for supported printers is both hard to use, and is busted.
