Getting rid of fake alerts
I keep getting an alert, complete with the Systems Settings wheel icon,
saying, "Your McAfee has expired. Click here to renew." It keeps
coming back. How do I get rid of it?

Launch Safari app.
Click Safari > Preferences > Websites tab.
Find and select Notifications in the left pane and then find the McAfee site on the right and delete it.
