Progress chart in Numbers

I'm trying to create a pie graph for my current balance and my balance goal, say I have accomplished 16% of my target balance, the two data entries I'm using are: 1. my current balance, and 2. (my target balance)-(my current balance).

Here the problem is that if my current balance exceeds the target balance, it creates a graph for that as well (negative, since now the current balance>target balance), instead of just 100% complete.

I know, that's because I'm not using the right formula for the "yet to accomplish" entry. And I'm kinda lost there. Would appreciate your help.

I just wanted it to show 100% on reaching the target balance. And thanks to ChatGPT, the answer was using the IF statement.

IF(Current Balance>=Target Balance, 0, Target Balance-Current Balance)

Do you have an idea how you would want the pie chart to look when it exceeds the target? No need to work out any formulas yet, just plug numbers into a table to make a chart that looks like what you want.

Here is an alternative idea that uses a stacked bar chart. The real thing would be only one bar, not three. I made it with three bars to show how it would look in each case (under, at, over target).
