Face ID doesn’t work and I tried resett still doesn’t work

We see you posted that Face ID isn't working properly on your iPhone 12. You also mentioned "resetting it" not working. Do you mean you restarted your iPhone? Or did you restore from a backup?
We'd recommend starting with these steps for Face ID not working: If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update and install any iOS updates.
- Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode.
- Make sure any features you want to use Face ID are enabled here.
3. Remove anything that might be covering the TrueDepth camera like a smudge, case, or screen protector.
4. Make sure your face isn't blocked or covered.
5. Make sure you are facing the TrueDepth camera.
6. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
7. Try setting up an alternate appearance: Set up Face ID on iPhone - Apple Support
8. Go to Settings, tap Face ID & Passcode, then tap Reset Face ID. Next tap Set up Face ID to set it up again.
If you still aren't able to get Face ID to work, reply back with what specifically happens. If you see an alert or error, post that. There are certain reasons you will see particular errors and that can provide additional guidance for help with this.
