How do I eliminate the rectangular box at the bottom of my email section labeled draft!

It looks like it's a draft email window that got pushed off to the side. Can you drag it to the center to the screen, exposing the close button in the upper left corner? Or click on it then press command-w.
Did you try tapping on it then pressing command-w?
Have you tried force quitting the application? Press the option key while the cursor is over the icon for Mail in the Dock. When you click on the icon, you should see the "Force Quit" option.

I have a white box at foot of email with Draft in it. No emails in draft folder and cannot shift it. Tried all ways and no joy.

I can’t delete it and I can’t move it. I have no draft messages in my box.
Tried that, but it won’t budge. Tried tapping, dragging, holding my finger on it. Still sitting there.
