Offline Mode

Can you add Offline Mode when you’re connected to the internet on iPad and iPhone? I want Offline Mode as in To not be with others while connected to the internet.

iPad Air, iPadOS 16

If you don’t wish to have FaceTime active, simply disable the service from iPad settings:

Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime - set to OFF

Alternatively, consider using the Do Not Disturb Focus Mode:

It sounds as if what your asking for is a "presence indicator" which would tell people if you're available, away or offline. That is not currently an option. You can let Apple know it's a feature you'd like to see in the future:
