Why is this happening to so many people and why aren’t Apple able to fix this?

I solved the problem using Terminal.
How can I do this if Finder is non responsive…. Just spinning away
Try deleting Finder preferences.
In Finder, press Command-Shift-G and paste this
~/Library/Preferences/
Delete: com.apple.finder.plist
drag the file to the trash, then force-quit the Finder, or log out and back in.
Force Quit: Click Apple logo in upper left menu or key ‘option + command + esc’
If Finder on macOS Ventura is crashing or not responding, you can try a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Here are some suggestions:
1. Restart Finder: Open the "Force Quit Applications" window by pressing Command + Option + Escape. Select Finder from the list and click the "Relaunch" button.
2. Restart your Mac: A simple restart can often fix temporary glitches. Click on the Apple menu in the top-left corner and choose "Restart."
3. Update macOS: Ensure that your macOS Ventura is up to date. Go to the Apple menu, select "System Preferences," and then click on "Software Update." If there are any available updates, install them.
4. Clear Finder preferences: Sometimes, corrupted preferences can cause issues. To reset Finder preferences, open the Terminal (found in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder) and enter the following command:
“defaults delete com.apple.finder”
Then, relaunch Finder.
5. Remove Finder preferences files: If resetting preferences doesn't work, you can try deleting Finder's preferences files. Open the Terminal and execute the following commands one by one:
“rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist”
“rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.sidebarlists.plist”
After executing these commands, restart your Mac.
6. Run Disk Utility: Errors on your disk could lead to Finder problems. Launch Disk Utility (found in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder), select your disk, and click on "First Aid" to scan and repair any issues.
7. Check for incompatible third-party software: Some third-party software or extensions may interfere with Finder's functionality. Try disabling or uninstalling any recently installed applications or extensions to see if the issue resolves.
If none of these steps resolve the problem, you may need to consider contacting Apple Support or visiting an Apple Store for further assistance.

It's not happening to "so many people". If it were, this forum would be awash with threads about it. It's not. At any given moment, there are people having the same problem on their Macs. The cause is not always the same. The fact that your problem is not shared by everyone using Ventura doesn't mean, though, that your problem isn't real, isn't frustrating.
Have you tried the "Apple recommended" answer above? If that doesn't work, you'll need to contact Apple directly for assistance. You can use the "Support" link at the bottom left of every page of these forums.
This worked for me, quick & simple.
Thank you!
Same is happening to me on a clean install.
