How to stop video recordings prioritising talking instead of music

When recording video at a concert or in a nightclub on older iPhones, the sound would come out very loud and clear but with the newer iPhones all video recordings seem to prioritise any surrounding chatter and minimise the sound of the music. It must be reading the music as 'background noise' but what about when the music is supposed to be the focus of the video? Now any music footage just sounds really quiet apart from surrounding people's chitchat and makes the video pointless. Is there any way to change this in settings? If not then they should make this an option.
