iphone 14 pro armband phone holder straps cover microphone

Is there a recommended iPhone 14 pro armband that does not impede/cover the microphone?

I do a lot of physical labor for work and hobbies, which exposes my phone to (sweat, dirt, water, dust, and heat); I like to have my phone handy for photos, and I listen to music via Airpods gen 2; my series 8 Apple watch has proven extremely useless...

I have a VUP Running Armband 360°Rotatable for iPhone that is a velcro strap, easily adjustable, and securely holds my phone. However, of the rubber straps that secure each corner of the phone, the bottom two completely cover the speakers/microphone, causing Siri communication to be even more difficult than usual. She (Siri) doesn't hear me and misunderstands me (after 3-4 attempts at a dictated text that is so far off from what I actually said, I end up stopping what I'm doing, taking off my dirty gloves, removing the armband and manually typing the text); If I want to skip a song, pause music, etc. I have to bring my arm very close to my mouth and speak rather loudly.

I have tried resetting my voice recognition with Siri; my phone is fully updated; I have cleared any debris from my speakers; I have replaced, cleaned, and updated my Airpods, etc.

I have serious love/hate, need/want/despise feelings for technology; I feel confident in my tech savviness.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

How to fix Siri issues, or which armband is most compatible?

I will discuss the Apple Watch issues at another time..... what a waste of time and money.

Hello rwarren77,

This article has steps to help Siri recognize your voice and commands:

If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone - Apple Support

Set up Siri to recognize your voice
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Siri & Search.
3. Turn off Listen for "Hey Siri," then turn it back on.
4. When the Set Up "Hey Siri" screen appears, tap Continue.
5. Say each command that you see on your screen.
6. Tap Done.

If Siri stops responding
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Siri & Search.
3. Tap Siri Responses.
4. Tap Prefer Spoken Responses to hear Siri speak responses, even when Silent mode is turned on.

Best Regards.
